Parents often tell me they're not just looking for someone to improve grades—they're looking for a tutor who can keep their child motivated, accountable and genuinely interested in learning. That's exactly what I've spent the last 15 years doing. I'm Amanda, a Chartered Accountant who has dedicated the past decade and a half to helping students succeed across Mathematics, English, Science and Accounting. Having worked with learners ranging from Primary School to Junior College, I've learnt that every student progresses differently, which is why I never believe in teaching every child the same way. Rather than rushing through worksheets, I focus on building strong foundations first. Once students understand why something works, they're able to tackle unfamiliar questions with far greater confidence and independence. Many of my students stay with me for several years, allowing us to build not only stronger academic results but also better study habits, organisation and self-confidence. What lessons look like Every student follows a structured learning plan based on their goals and current ability. Depending on the subject, lessons may include: - Weekly mastery quizzes - Personalised worksheets - Exam paper discussions - Vocabulary building - Composition feedback - Accounting case studies - Timed practices before examinations Small-group classes are intentionally kept small so every student receives individual guidance while also benefiting from peer discussion and collaborative learning.
