Welcome! I'm Corrine, an engineer by profession with a background in Mechatronics Engineering and Computer Science. Before continuing my engineering career, I graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Mechatronics & Robotics, where I developed a strong interest in both technology and education. Over the past seven years, tutoring has remained one of the most rewarding parts of my work, giving me the opportunity to support students from Upper Primary through Polytechnic Foundation programmes. 🟢 Rather than following a rigid lesson plan, I usually begin by asking students what happened in school that week. If there are topics they found confusing, assignments they couldn't finish or tests they're worried about, we work through those first before building a longer-term plan. I find that this keeps lessons practical, relevant and immediately useful. 🟢 Because of my diverse teaching background, I regularly help students with Mathematics, Science, English, reading comprehension, writing, grammar and introductory Programming, while also supporting Polytechnic students taking Engineering Mathematics, Computing and foundational engineering modules. Over the years, I've learnt that every student benefits from a different teaching approach, so lessons are always adjusted to match their pace, confidence and learning style.
