Hi! I'm Su Yong Bin. I'm a Year 5 Medicine student and a graduate of Hwa Chong Institution, where I achieved 90 Rank Points with A grades in H2 Biology, H2 Mathematics and H2 Economics. Over the years, I've accumulated 300+ hours of tutoring experience, working with students from Primary School through Junior College and helping them achieve greater confidence in Biology, Mathematics and Accounting. I've taught through several established tuition organisations as well as private one-to-one lessons, giving me the opportunity to work with students from a wide range of academic backgrounds and learning abilities. Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson according to their current understanding, school curriculum and long-term goals. My teaching approach focuses on building strong conceptual understanding before gradually introducing questions of increasing difficulty. Students receive carefully curated revision materials, topical worksheets, past-year examination papers and targeted practice for weaker topics. I also encourage students to reach out between lessons whenever they have questions about homework or revision, providing ongoing support throughout the school term rather than only during lesson hours. As a medical student, I've developed a deep understanding of Biology and the importance of logical problem-solving—skills that I bring into every lesson. Beyond improving grades, my goal is to help students become confident, independent learners who understand why concepts work and are able to apply them confidently in unfamiliar examination questions. Whether your child is preparing for school assessments, O-Levels or A-Levels, I'll work closely with them to help them achieve their academic goals while making learning an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
