My tutoring experience includes over 10 years of privately coaching students across primary, secondary, and international curricula - IP, IGCSE and IB besides Cambridge GCE - and nearly 8 years of formal classroom teaching in various private tuition centres and schools on a contractual basis. I customize lessons carefully to suit each learner’s pace and ability. In ensuring and optimising effective reinforcement of concepts taught, I curate meaningfully designed resources and provide these materials to the student in a well-structured fashion and at graded difficulty levels. Through Whatsapp group chat channels, I provide clear instructions on weekly assignments, clarification of students’ doubts and consistent feedback with parents outside of tuition hours. I believe that regular communication with parents, and positive reinforcement through reminders to the student aside of formal lesson time, aids in achieving steady progress. I have also worked long-term with pupils of diverse learning needs i.e. those who may be neurodivergent (e.g. on the autism spectrum, dyslexic, GDD etc.) which has strengthened my patience, adaptability, and clarity in instruction and pedagogical presentation and execution. In addition to in-person tutoring, I am thoroughly experienced and well-equipped in conducting lessons online, having taught a substantial proportion of my students virtually across both local and international contexts.
