I'm Isaac, a qualified teacher with degrees in Secondary Education and Science, majoring in Pure Mathematics with a Minor in Chemistry. Alongside teaching Mathematics and Chemistry, I'm also an experienced chess instructor, and over the years I've found that many of the same skills that make a strong chess player—logical reasoning, careful planning and disciplined decision-making—also help students become stronger learners in the classroom. A Different Approach to Learning My lessons are built around one simple idea: Confidence comes from understanding the process, not memorising the answer. Whether we're working through algebra, balancing chemical equations or analysing a chess position, I encourage students to slow down, identify patterns and think logically before rushing towards a solution.
