Experienced O-Level and A-Level Maths Tutor for A1-Focused Students

Some students don't struggle with Mathematics because they lack ability—they struggle because nobody has explained it in a way that truly makes sense to them. 🟢 That's where I hope to make a difference. With many years of experience teaching Mathematics in both classroom and private tuition settings, I've worked with students ranging from those who have lost confidence in the subject to those aiming for top distinctions at O-Levels and A-Levels. Every student arrives with a different story, and I believe good tuition begins by understanding why a student is struggling before deciding how to help them improve. My lessons are structured, patient and purposeful. Rather than racing through the syllabus, we spend time strengthening the underlying concepts first, making sure students develop the confidence to tackle unfamiliar questions independently instead of relying on memorised methods. Many parents tell me that one of the biggest changes they notice isn't just an improvement in grades, but a change in attitude. Students become less anxious, more willing to attempt difficult questions and more organised in the way they approach revision. 🟢 My Teaching Philosophy I believe Mathematics should feel logical, not intimidating.
