I'm Nisha, a Business Analytics graduate from NUS and Ngee Ann Polytechnic alumna who tutors Business, Statistics, Accounting and introductory analytics modules for Polytechnic students in Singapore. Lessons are practical and often linked to the student's current assignments, tutorials or upcoming common tests, because Polytechnic learning is not always about memorising content; students also need to explain choices, interpret data, present findings and show that their work meets assessment criteria. I am based in the West and teach online or around Pioneer, Boon Lay and Jurong West, especially for students who want help turning rough notes, spreadsheets or project outlines into clearer answers.

I graduated from Polytechnic with a GPA of 3.92 before entering NUS Business Analytics on a merit scholarship, so I understand both the pressure of maintaining a strong GPA and the practical style of Polytechnic assessment. I have tutored students in business statistics, accounting basics, marketing analytics, report writing and presentation preparation. My teaching is structured but not rigid: I first check whether the student understands the key concept, then we apply it to tutorial-style questions, assignment rubrics or sample datasets. For statistics, I cover probability, hypothesis testing, regression, confidence intervals and the interpretation of results, with extra emphasis on explaining what the numbers mean in plain English. I also help students prepare presentation flow and speaker notes so their slides sound natural rather than memorised.
