Hi, I’m Rach, from Rach Tutors! I provide patient, structured small-group tuition for Primary English, Maths and Science, as well as Secondary and O-Level English. Lessons are available online or in person at my office in Textile Centre, near Lavender MRT. I’m a Cedar Girls’ alumna and Accounting & Finance graduate with professional experience at leading US investment banks. I also have previous experience tutoring PSLE and O-Level English and Maths students, with English as my main specialisation. I’m especially keen to help students who need stronger foundations, clearer explanations or greater confidence in their work. My lessons follow a focused three-step approach: 1. Identify the specific concepts or skills causing difficulty. 2. Strengthen understanding through clear explanations and guided practice. 3. Apply the concept independently through targeted drills and exam-style questions. Worksheets and additional practice are prepared according to each student’s level and weaker areas. Students may also bring schoolwork, homework or practice papers they need help understanding. Classes are kept intentionally small so I can check each student’s work and provide individual guidance. New slots may begin as one-to-one lessons before other suitable students join. Current classes include Wednesday Primary Maths and Friday Upper Secondary/O-Level English Intensive. Students may choose any two-hour slot between 4pm and 8pm. A paid trial lesson is available before committing to monthly classes.
