I had been a private tutor for the last 5 years and I had been teaching upper pri including my son who is in Sec 1 this year. I am familiar with the school syllabus and my students had improved tremendously under my guidance from failed to A2. I am keen to work with the parents to help the child scores well with consistent effort and good altitude. I am currently teaching 8 students in upper pri.

I have taught students who went on to achieve strong academic results, including a PSLE score of AL8. I am also grateful that parents have recommended me to their friends, which I see as a reflection of the trust they place in my teaching and the progress they have seen in their children. While good academic results are important, what I find most fulfilling is seeing a child grow in confidence, improve progressively and eventually excel. For me, tutoring is not simply about helping a student score better, but about helping them understand concepts, develop stronger learning habits and realise that they are capable of achieving more than they initially thought. I focus not only on helping students arrive at the correct answer, but also on ensuring that they understand the reasoning and are able to apply what they have learnt independently.
