Hi! I'm Xin Yi. I'm a Biomedicine graduate with over four years of tutoring experience, and I genuinely enjoy helping students discover that learning doesn't have to be stressful or overwhelming. Throughout my tutoring journey, I've worked with Primary and Secondary students from a wide range of academic backgrounds, including learners for whom English is not their first language. Watching students grow in confidence and gradually realise their own potential is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching. I believe every student learns differently, which is why I tailor each lesson around the individual's current progress, learning style and academic goals. Whether we're strengthening weaker topics, preparing for upcoming examinations or improving writing and communication skills, lessons are paced to ensure students develop genuine understanding rather than simply memorising answers. My teaching style is patient, encouraging and highly interactive, creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.
